Kay Kramer, CFP® Kay is a co-owner of KLB Financial and a Certified Financial Planner™ professional. She is a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation. After receiving her B.A. from Colorado College in 1975, she went on to earn her M.B.A. from the University of Minnesota in 1984. Active in the financial services industry since 1985 when she obtained her securities registrations and insurance licenses, she went on to obtain her CFP® certification in 1988. Kay is a member of the Financial Planning Association and is past president of the Minnesota Society of Certified Financial Planners. She has presented seminars on a variety of topics for corporations and community organizations. Kay has a passion for social justice issues and has a specialty in socially responsible investing. Kay has been quoted numerous times in the Star Tribune, the Minnesota Women's Press and City Business. Her current volunteer commitments include serving as senior warden of her parish, St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Minneapolis, and as a member of the Women's Foundation of Minnesota Investment committee. She also serves as a finance faculty for the CREDO project, a nationwide wellness program for Episcopal clergy.
When away from the office, Kay enjoys both domestic and international travels, and escapes to her cabin in the woods of northern Wisconsin as often as possible.

Dana Brewer is a co-owner of KLB Financial and Certified Financial Planner™ professional. She is a Registered Representative and an Investment Adviser Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation. Dana entered the financial services industry in 1992 with a degree in Personal Finance and received her CFP® in 1998. Dana is actively involved as a committee member in the Minnesota Chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA).
Dana is a long time resident of Eden Prairie, MN and she is actively involved on the board of Teen’s Alone, a non-profit organization that provides free and confidential counseling and crisis services year round to youth and parents in the western suburbs. Bridget Handke, CFP® Bridget Handke is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional as well as a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation. She has been in the financial services industry since 2001 and joined KLB Financial in 2004. Bridget attended Santa Clara University and graduated from Iowa State. She is a member of the Financial Planning Association. Financial Planning is Bridget’s passion and she enjoys helping women and couples made the most of their money. She has developed a specialty in working with widows to help them navigate through their financial transition in a particularly stressful time in their lives. Bridget volunteers with Best Prep Organization and frequently teaches financial topics in the high schools. Bridget is a transplant from Illinois. She and her husband Dan have lived in Apple Valley for over 20 years. They have a daughter at the University of Minnesota and one in high school. When not attending sporting events in her free time, she enjoys learning about kickboxing and mixed martial arts.

Damian Winther, CFP® Damian Winther is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional as well as a Registered Representative and Investment Adviser Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation. Damian is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Minnesota-Duluth where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration (BBA) degree while majoring in Finance. Damian has been actively involved in the financial services industry since 1999 and has a broad range of knowledge including banking, investment management, portfolio allocation, risk management, taxation strategies, and estate planning. Prior to joining KLB Financial, Damian worked for the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) as an Assistant National Bank Examiner.
Damian and his wife, Jill, live in Medina with their three daughters, Camryn, Keeley, and Hayden. When not working or studying, Damian can often be found on the golf course, at a local ice arena, or on a softball diamond. A long time resident of the Minneapolis area, Damian remains active in the community’s youth and adult sports associations and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Steve Dixon, CFA Steve Dixon joined KLB Financial in November 2007 as the Investment Manager. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a concentration in Financial Management. Steve began his career as an investment analyst at Jeffrey Slocum & Associates, an institutional investment consulting firm in Minneapolis. He was later placed in charge of researching and recommending U.S. and non-U.S. equity investment managers for Slocum clients. Steve was most recently employed in the investments unit at the ELCA Board of Pensions in Minneapolis, which manages a $7 billion retirement plan for ELCA members. Steve has earned the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Registered Representative with Financial Network Investment Corporation. He is also a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Minnesota.
Steve and his wife live in Medina with their children, Liam and Alec, as well as their two dogs, Shilo and Rolo. Outside of work Steve enjoys playing hockey and golf with friends, watching movies and reading.

Stacey graduated from the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Languages. She has been working in the financial services industry since 2000.
When away from the company, Stacey's primary focus is her family, rising to the challenges of being a wife and mother. She travels as often as possible to Iowa to see her father down on the farm. She also enjoys exercising, reading and listening to music.

Shelly joined KLB Financial in August 2006 and is a Client Support Representative. Her main responsibilities include business processing, marketing, client assistance, and meeting preparation. She is a Registered Representative of Financial Network Investment Corporation. After growing up in the Iron Range, Shelly attended Pillsbury College, graduating in 2004 with a major in Theology and minors in Math and Office Management. Prior to entering the financial industry she worked as an office manager in the non-profit and advertising fields. She resides in Bloomington and in her free time enjoys working with her church women & children ministries, volleyball, remodeling & spending time with family & friends.
Ellen joined KLB in January, 2005 and is now a Client Support Representative. Her main responsibilities include client meeting preparation, business processing and trading. She is a Registered Representative of Financial Network Investment Corporation. Before joining KLB, Ellen was a stay at home mom for ten years.
Ellen grew up in Minneapolis and earned a Business degree from the University of Minnesota. Before becoming a mom, she worked for Prime Mortgage Corp. for 3 ½ years and at First Bank Edina for 12 ½ years prior to that. In her free time, Ellen enjoys reading, painting and motorcycling.

Amy Gaylord
Amy joined KLB Financial in February of 2008. Her main responsibilities include office management and support as well as various tasks to keep the office moving efficiently. She is a Registered Representative of Financial Network Investment Corporation.
Amy grew up in the Twin Cities area and attended Bethel University. She graduated with a BA in Business Finance. Prior to joining KLB, Amy was an insurance agent with American Family Insurance. In 2004 she acquired her Series 6 & 63 registrations. She also has her insurance license. Amy currently resides in Lakeville with her husband and baby boy, Zach. She enjoys traveling, being outside, exercising, and being with friends and family.
